“I attended one of Nusye’s lino print workshops at Court X on Sunday 8th December.  I had not done lino print before but I wanted to attend because I love Nusye’s work and figured that must mean her workshops are good too.  Yes they are, I had a great time and was proud of what I created.  I am not great at focusing on things that are new if instructions get complicated but Nusye made it all easy to follow and provided high quality materials and tools to work with.  I got right into the zone and the time went very quickly.  I think that whether you are a beginner or experienced at lino print this is a good workshop to attend as either way you will make progress.  The space that Nusye creates in her workshop sessions are welcoming, open, kind, fun and not, how can I put this, hoity toity the way some arty things can be and Court X is a really good space I think, maybe as there are other things going on so it feels kind of vibrant. So would highly recommend and would certainly attend more if the opportunity arises.

“I really enjoyed the demonstration of the different materials to carve on and the experience of printing my own workpiece and getting to bring the final results home with me. It was a fantastic experience and I would go again!”

“Nusye’s workshop was so wonderfully run – organised, clear, informative yet still so creatively freeing. I love the passion Nusye brings to her work, and her encouragment of our own art we created. She walks the line perfectly between being helpful but not too overbearing.
She is so warm and welcoming!”

“Nusye was super friendly and you could ask her anything at all and she was always happy to share tips and insights. It was a relaxed atmosphere and I felt very welcome.”

“I didn’t have much experience with printmaking before this workshop, but with Nusye’s help, I now feel like an expert! We experimented with different types of lino at the start of the session and Nusye was incredibly helpful in explaining all the differences between them which allowed me to pick the perfect type for the design I was making. There were so many different tools on offer, including inks, types of lino, and a million different lino-cutting tools! I would love to do this workshop again :)”
