This linoprint was inspired both by the local artist Ian Parmiter, aka Lord Sonic of the Emptifish band – and the war-era vintage bicycle displayed at Portsmouth Museum. Ian is known to ride his vintage bicycle around the locale; this print is an homage to resilience and hope in an era filled with challenges and harsh realities.
